TWDIST
Tsuen Wan District (TWDIST), together with District Fight Crime Committee (Tsuen Wan District) (TW DFCC), Tsuen Wan District Office and Yuen Yuen Institute, held the Tsuen Wan Winter Precaution cum Anti-drug Publicity Campaign 2023 on December 16, 2023. Community dignitaries, members of Senior Police Call and Junior Police Call, and students of 17 primary schools in the District, totalling over 1 000 participants, attended the event. District Officer (Tsuen Wan) Mr Au Ka-shing led the Chairman of TW DFCC Mr Chiu Yiu-nin and other participants to take the oath as Fight Crime Ambassadors.
The event featured a rope skipping performance by Hong Kong athletes, a primary school quiz competition on fighting crime, a performance by Fight Crime Star Mr Cheng Sai-ho and so on, to instil positive thinking in students, disseminate crime prevention and anti-drug messages, and promote TWDIST’s anti-deception strategy of “Halt, Think, Clarify”. Following the event, the then District Commander of TWDIST Ng Cheuk-hang and TW DFCC members boarded a publicity bus to broadcast anti-deception messages and distribute crime-prevention calendars to the citizens along the way.

District Commander of Tai Po District (TPDIST) Ma Wai-hing, together with members of District Fight Crime Committee (Tai Po District) and District Fight Crime Committee (North District) distributed crime prevention leaflets and anti-deception souvenirs to the merchants and citizens at Tai Po Market and Luen Wo Hui, Fanling on December 19, 2023, reminding them to take burglary-prevention measures and be vigilant regarding their properties.
