Kowloon East (KE) organised the first joint-departmental Mountain Search and Rescue (SAR) Operation Knowledge Management Seminar on November 15, joined by representatives of the High Angle Rescue Team of Fire Services Department (FSD), Mountain SAR Company of Civil Aid Service (CAS), Key Points and Search (KPS) Division, Police Dog Unit and Quick Reaction Force of New Territories North. The event attracted over 120 participants from the six Regions, the Police Tactical Unit Headquarters, FSD and CAS were invited to be guest speakers. At the seminar, officers from various departments explained the investigation techniques and SAR tools for locating missing persons due to mountain activities, and shared previous cases.
