The Key Points and Search Division (KPSDIV) of Operations Wing (OPS Wing) organised a sharing session at the Police College on August 24 to provide the latest drone information and showcase the latest models of drones and accessories such as AI night vision cameras, multilingual speakers, noise-reduction microphone and power supply tethering systems. The six Regions, various major formations and drone user units were invited to attend the sharing session.

Superintendent of KPSDIV Ko Chung-ying thanked the attending units at the sharing session. He also reminded the officers that they should pay attention to the relevant policy requirements (e.g. Operations manual for drones) while making use of drones. He said that OPS Wing would continue optimising the policies, providing communication platforms such as an electronic data system for drones, and despatching personnel to the Mainland for training, to enhance the overall efficiency of Force drone operations.

Officers are briefed on the different functional accessories.
