Over 120 delegates of lecturers and students from Shenzhen University and Tsinghua University and members of the Security Bureau Youth Uniformed Group Leaders Forum visited the Public Relations Wing (PR Wing) on September 23 and 29 respectively to have exchange with officers of PR Wing.

The officers shared with the delegations the previous challenges on public relations faced by the Force and the key directions and strategies to cope with such challenges. Social media live streaming workshops were also arranged for the students to assume the role of frontline commanders and personally experience how to coordinate frontline operations and communicate with the media when handling emergency situations, with a view to disseminating latest information to the public effectively, efficiently and accurately. The participants showed great interest in the workshops and agreed that the event helped them understand more about the functions and operations of the Hong Kong Police Force.
