The Hong Kong Auxiliary Police Force (HKAPF) Flag-raising Cadre conducted the flag-raising ceremony in celebration of the 26th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on the campus of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) on July 1 upon invitation of HKUST. Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the HKSAR (LOCPG) Ms Lu Xinning, President of HKUST Professor Nancy Ip, Commandant of HKAPF Yang Joe-tsi and Deputy Commandant of HKAPF Dr Leung Sai-kwong, together with Court and Council members of HKUST, representatives of the Force, university staff, students, alumni and their family members attended the ceremony.

Four cadre members are current students at HKUST. They have immense pride in hoisting the flag in the capacity of HKAPF officers on campus on this special day.
