To tie in with the regular development and organise a competitive football team of police children for open competition, Police Football Club officially launched the Little Lions Football Training Programme this summer for police children aged between five and eight. Commissioner Siu Chak-yee was invited to officiate at the opening ceremony at the Police Sports and Recreation Club on July 9 and witnessed 120 Little Lions to commence training. World Champion of Freestyle Football Championship Pedro de Oliveira performed his brilliant ball controlling technique.

The programme will run a seven-session summer class and a 24-session regular class with Hong Kong BOAS Football Club being the coaching team.
