The Hong Kong Police College (HKPC) was commended as 2022 Qualifications Framework in Action (QFIA) Achiever by the Education Bureau at the Qualifications Framework (QF) Partnerships Commendation Ceremony 2023 cum QF 15th Anniversary Celebration held on May 10. The commendation signified the exemplary practices of HKPC in applying the QF elements (seven-level hierarchy) in 2021-2022.
HKPC, being the first non-tertiary education institution and government department granted Programme Area Accreditation status by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications, has been entrusted since 2020 to accredit the Force courses in the Programme Area of Law Enforcement and Security Studies up to QF Level 5. HKPC has so far accredited/re-accredited 18 Force programmes covering various domains, including foundation training, professional development, criminal investigation, fingerprint detection, cyber-crime, marine policing, and financial investigation. HKPC is dedicated to enhancing the training courses continuously to facilitate officers being equipped with professionalism, skills and knowledge to serve Hong Kong.
