The 23rd Inauguration and Gratitude Ceremony of the Kowloon West (KW) Youth Care Committee was held on May 25 and attended by over 300 guests. Deputy Regional Commander of KW (DRC KW) Ng Lok-chun officiated at the ceremony, with the attendance of the Acting Secretary for Security Mr Cheuk Hau-yip.

DRC KW presented appointment certificates to the 27 presidents and thanked 26 government departments, community organisations, NGOs and psychological experts for providing assistance to the Committee over the years. The new Chairman Mr Lui Wai-keung reported the Committee’s work plan for the coming year, which included leading youths on cultural exchange trip(s) to the Mainland, strengthening sports training and homework guidance and helping students build positive values to contribute to society.
