The Hong Kong Police Band Cadet (HKPBC) has been established since earlier this year. At present, there are 19 members from primary and secondary schools. Among them, Ho Pak-hei has a specially profound relationship with the Hong Kong Police Band (HKPB). His grandfather, Ho Shek-kei, was the retired Bandmaster of HKPB, who served at the band for 33 years before his retirement in the 90s. He is very pleased to witness his grandson, a music fanatic since early childhood, joining HKPBC. He hopes that Pak-hei will obtain deeper music knowledge and performance experience through HKPBC.
