The annual Auld Reekie Lunch of former Hong Kong Police (HKP) officers was held in the Côte French Restaurant in Edinburgh, Scotland on April 26. In attendance were Ian Seabourne, Iain Grant, Bruce Hawkins, Jimmy McIlveen, Ian Nicholson, Billy Kirkhope, Kenny Wright, Gavin Brown, Barry Jones and Dave O’Brien.

The first Auld Reekie lunch was held several years ago. This year, ten former HKP officers attended. They included Iain Grant, who had flown in from Australia, and Dave O’Brien, who had flown in from the Cayman Islands. During the lunch, Ian Seabourne regaled the attendees with several interesting tales regarding his well-known peanut allergies. After lunch, the group retreated to the Oxford Bar to recount their numerous deeds in HKP.
