To promote a healthy lifestyle and strengthen the bonding between officers, the Service Quality Wing (SQW) organised the SQW Sports Day 2022-23 at the Police Officers’ Club on March 24. Over 250 disciplined and civilian officers, their family members, and over 60 guests from the Independent Police Complaints Council (IPCC) and the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) attended the event.
The sports day was held again after five years because of the epidemic. Assistant Commissioner (Service Quality) Tsang Yim-sheung encouraged contestants to participate in various sports games and enjoy the time with colleagues and families. Deputy Commissioner (Management) Chow Yat-ming led some officers in a friendly tug-of-war match against IPCC and ICAC. At the prize presentation ceremony, he also congratulated the winners and appreciated the officers’ active participation. The championship eventually went to the Internal Investigation Office-cum-Integrity Audit Action Group team.
