The Regional Crime Prevention Office of New Territories North (NTN) held an anti-deception seminar cum demonstration on March 30 for people hard of hearing. Instant sign language translation was provided for the participants to understand the latest deception cases and avoid falling into the traps of scammers. Moreover, Emergency Unit, Quick Reaction Force and Traffic of NTN were invited to set up kit demonstrations to explain their daily duties and equipment for enhancing the Force’s relationship with the community.

Furthermore, Silence, an NGO serving the deaf and the hard of hearing also joined NTN’s Project HEROES to help the Force disseminate anti-deception messages.
