Kwun Tong District (KTDIST) held a briefing at the Police Officers’ Club on February 21 with an aim to deepen stakeholders’ understanding of the district’s policing work. The briefing was hosted by District Commander of KTDIST Chin Tsang-lo, with district leaders of Kwun Tong, including the chairpersons, vice chairpersons and members of Kwun Tong District Council and the District Fight Crime Committee (Kwun Tong District), invited to attend.
In her welcoming speech, Chin Tsang-lo thanked various sectors of the community for their supporting the Force, and outlined KTDIST’s Action Plan for this year, including a large-scale campaign “Fight Crime with the Youth in Kwun Tong”. Chief Inspector (Crime) of KTDIST Kai Tsz-lun briefed on the overall crime statistics and crime situation in the district in the previous year. District Operation Officer of KTDIST Yu Shing-lam gave an overview of the anti-vice operation and the Kwun Tong Police Smart Traffic. Chief Inspector (Operations) of KTDIST Lam Sau-wah introduced the operation codenamed BULLMARK for combatting factory premises involved in illegal activities.
