15 members of The Hong Kong Police Judo Club (Police Judo Club) participated in the 2022 Hong Kong Sambo Championship held by the Sambo Federation of Hong Kong China, capturing seven gold, four silver and three bronze medals. Chairman of Hong Kong Police Judo Club Lau Ka-yip was encouraged by the result and affirmed the efforts of the medal winners.

Sambo is a fusion of judo and traditional Russian martial arts with technical presentation very similar to judo. Members of the Police Judo Club practise in the Judo Room of Police Sports and Recreation Club from 7pm to 9pm every Tuesday.
