The Force and Christian Action co-organised the Used Clothing Collection Campaign 2022. Its hand-over cum recognition ceremony was held at the Police Headquarters on February 15. Assistant Commissioner (Personnel) Chan Man-tak (ACP P) and Chief Operating Officer of Christian Action Mr Chan Wing-kong were the officiating guests. ACP P thanked the officers for their efforts and hoped that the officers would keep supporting the campaign to promote environmental protection and caring for the under-privileged. Mr Chan Wing-kong expressed gratitude to the Force and joined the Senior Manager of Social Enterprise of Christian Action Mr Chau Sek-leung to present souvenirs to representatives of the participating units.
The campaign is one of the Force’s social responsibility initiatives. The 21 collection points set up this year collected 61 253kg of clothing and used items.
