To step up communication with mainland students from the University of Hong Kong (HKU) and enhance their anti-deception awareness, Western District (WDIST) took 30 HKU mainland students on a one-day local tour on February 7. The itinerary of the tour included visits to Tai Kwun and the Police Museum, a ride on the Observation Wheel to see the magnificent Victoria Harbour and a sharing session on scam prevention for the participants to understand the history of Hong Kong Police and its day-to-day work, as well as enhancing their anti-deception awareness. WDIST will keep organising a wide array of functions and sustaining its close ties with mainland students to promote anti-deception messages among them.
