To attract high-caliber talents joining the Force, Tai Po District (TPDIST) strengthens its recruitment publicity in several aspects. On February 17, TPDIST participated in the “Careers Expo - Job, On Your Mark!”, which was organised by Tai Po District Office. The event was conducted with career orientation workshops, including industry sharing and craftsman workshops, with participation of over 400 senior secondary students from various schools in the district. In addition to presenting information and channels to join the Force, TPDIST set up mock handgrip strength test and eyesight test on-site for visiting students to experience the tests. Moreover, officers were arranged to share with the students their motivations in joining the Force and their experiences in police work. District Commander of TPDIST Ma Wai-hing also visited the venue and interacted with the students to deepen their understanding of police recruitment and interest in police work.
