The delegation was received by the Head of the Agreements Section of the International Cooperation Department of Qatar. Both parties exchanged views on the fugitive issue, fraudulent cases and theft of properties. The delegation also learned about the international cooperation and coordination work of Qatar. At a joint meeting with the representatives of Qatar’s Airport Security Department, Airport Passports Department, Qatar Airport Management Company and General Authority for Civil Aviation, the delegation was briefed on the security measures of Hamad International Airport during the 2022 World Cup. They also shared their experience on the security of ports and airports. Moreover, the delegation met with the Director of Rescue Police Department to understand the emergency response capabilities of Qatar Police. They also had a tour to the operational and training facilities.
The visit enabled the officers to learn from overseas experience and better understand the policing regime in Qatar. It also offered an opportunity for the officers to forge closer ties with local law enforcement officers for meeting future challenges.
