Officers of Tsuen Wan District (TWDIST) visited residential buildings and the Lunar New Year fair at Sha Tsui Road Playground in mid-January to distribute promotional items on crime prevention to members of the public, reminding them to keep an eye on their personal belongings. In addition, TWDIST and District Fight Crime Committee (Tsuen Wan District) jointly organised an anti-crime publicity event at TWDIST Junior Police Call Clubhouse. Members of the Hong Kong Police Painting and Calligraphy Club were invited to write fai chun on the spot to send warm regards to the public, with a view to fostering social harmony in the community through the event.
