To strengthen the connection between mentors and mentees under the Police Mentorship Programme (PMP), members from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and The University of Hong Kong took part in a sports competition event held at Police Officers’ Club on December 8, 2022. The sports competitions included badminton, basketball shooting, shuttle run and tug of war. Members of the Police Tug of War Club were invited to teach participants about skills and safety measures of tug of war. Eventually, the team of CUHK won the championship. CUHK mentor cum Chief Superintendent Au Yeung Mun-yee attended the event to show her support for the participants and officiated at the prize presentation ceremony, saying that sports help mentees train their perseverance, enhance their self-confidence and develop team spirit.
