TPDIST
To remind the public against cyber deception, burglary and theft, District Commander (DC) of Tai Po District (TPDIST) Ma Wai-hing, together with representatives of District Fight Crime Committees (DFCC) (Tai Po District), distributed crime prevention leaflets and anti-epidemic items to the shops and citizens in Tai Po Market on December 16, 2022. Afterwards, DC of TPDIST and representatives of DFCC (North District) went to Luen Wo Hui, Fanling to promote crime prevention messages among citizens in the district, reminding them to stay vigilant, be careful of phone scams and strengthen anti-theft measures.
TWDIST
Tsuen Wan District (TWDIST) staged the Winter Precaution, Fight Crime and Anti-drug Publicity Campaign jointly with the Social Service Department of Yuen Yuen Institute, DFCC (Tsuen Wan) and Tsuen Wan District Office on December 17, 2022. Acting DC of TWDIST Tang Kwok-hung, District Officer (Tsuen Wan) Mr Au Ka-shing, together with representatives of DFCC (Tsuen Wan), various government departments and local groups, disseminated anti-drug and fight crime messages. The event also featured a Chinese-style flag-raising ceremony and singing and dancing performance by students from local schools to publicise anti-drug messages.
At the same time, TWDIST launched various winter precaution and fight crime operations to implement winter precaution measures by deploying more officers to convey anti-burglary messages to the community and remind members of the public to keep an eye on their personal belongings and foster police-community co-operation.
