To promote physical fitness, continuous participation in sports and healthy lifestyle, Training and Staff Relations Office of Kowloon East Region (KE) organised the KE Sports and Healthy Life Photo Competition between July and September. The competition had three themes, namely team work, personal perseverance and family/parent-child time. The adjudicating criteria comprised creativity and originality; visual composition and colouring; and effectiveness in conveying the message of sports and healthy life. The well-responded competition attracted 81 entries.
Vice Chairman of Kowloon East Regional Management and Police Photography Club Ng Ka-wang served as the adjudicator of the competition. Three winning entries and three merit entries were selected. The awarded entries were recorded in a video clip and uploaded to the P-TV KE Channel to disseminate the benefits of sports and healthy lifestyle. The contestants expressed that they enjoyed the process of participating in the competition, and felt the joy and positive energy of teamwork and interaction with their families during sport and photo-shooting activities.
