Superintendent of Training Coordination and Liaison Division Man Ngar-man and Superintendent of Police Management Learning Division Poon Gee-kwun attended the 6th General Assembly Annual Meeting of the Association of Police Training Institutions in Asia (APTA) participated by 21 police training institutions from 14 countries, such as Korean National Police University, Singapore Police Force and Philippine National Police Academy, on August 31.

In the subsequent academic conference, representatives of Hong Kong Police College (HKPC) and five other police training institutions briefed on opportunities of training exchange and collaboration with other participating institutions. Poon delivered a presentation titled “HKPC Command Course Overview” to introduce to APTA members the setting, objectives and contents of HKPC’s command courses. HKPC will keep making proactive efforts to develop partnership with international or regional institutions and organisations engaged in police training.
