Due to the upward trend of traffic accidents involving public light buses (PLB) on Hong Kong Island (HKI) in the first half of 2022 against the same period of 2021, officers from the Road Safety Team of Traffic HKI (T HKI) approached PLB drivers at the PLB terminuses in the Region to distribute publicity leaflets and caution them that they should pay more attention to the traffic condition and pedestrians, and view the rearview mirrors more frequently when driving. The officers also explained to the drivers the serious consequences of fatal traffic accidents.
