To promote the message of protection and respect for animal life, the Regional Crime Prevention Office of Kowloon West (KW) held an Animal Watchers Education Workshop under the Animal Watchers Programme at Kowloon West Regional Headquarters on June 25. Chief inspector of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, an officer of Hong Kong Rabbit Society, Animal Crime Police Team of MKDIST, and community leaders were invited to be guest speakers of the workshop to introduce the scope of their duties and share latest information on the related animals. A guest speaker shared his experience as a guide dog raiser and boarder. A guest suffering from visual impairment and a retired guide dog were also invited to interact with the participants. In the dynamic workshop, the Animal Watchers exchanged their experience and ideas actively with the guest speakers.
