The Lawn Bowling Green of the Police Officers’ Club (POC) allows club members to enjoy lawn bowling all day regardless of the weather. To make flexible use of the space in the bowling green, POC previously procured floor mats for protecting the artificial turf to facilitate officers holding various activities and seminars there. The space has recently been used for packaging anti-epidemic supplies, personnel training and served as the preparation area for operations related to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The Police Lawn Bowls Club has donated some mats, jacks and lawn bowls, and subject to the development of the epidemic, will also hold relevant training. To protect the artificial turf, members are required to wear appropriate sports clothing and flat-bottomed sneakers without grooves during practice.
