The Crime Prevention Bureau (CPB) organised a crime prevention enhancement training session at the Police Officers’ Club on June 16. It was attended by 90 officers from CPB and Regional Crime Prevention Offices.
To fight crime and tackle future challenges, Inspector of Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau Cheung Kwok-ching talked about the latest trend of technology crimes, modus operandi of the scammers and prevention of such crimes, as well as sharing his insights on cryptocurrencies and non-fungible token. CPB also invited a locksmith specialist to share with the participants the latest technologies for safes, door locks and electronic locks, and to demonstrate measures to prevent such locks being burgled.
The attendees found the session enlightening and able to increase their knowledge about crime prevention. CPB will keep inviting officers of the Force and external working partners to be speakers sharing the latest trends of various industries for the Force to honour its commitment to community engagement.
