Formations keep producing videos for internal training and public education. Three of them won two silver awards and one bronze award in the international “Questar Awards 2022”.
CAPO
The fifth episode of Complaint Prevention Animation “CAPO X Justice Bao’s Encyclopedia of Procedures” produced by Complaints Against Police Office (CAPO) won Silver Award in the “Non-profit Organizations: Government category”. With the theme on handling persons who are unable to produce proof of identity, the animation reminds officers of the procedures for handling relevant cases, with a view to enhancing professionalism and service quality of the Force.
CSTCB & PPRB
Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau (CSTCB) and Police Public Relations Branch (PPRB) jointly produced the video “Tripartite Counter Cyber and Physical Terrorism Exercise Codenamed ‘RIDGERANGE’”, which won Silver Award in the “Non-Profit Organizations: Public Awareness category”. CSTCB joined the law enforcement agencies of Mainland and Macao to conduct the counter cyber and physical terrorism exercise codenamed “RIDGERANGE” at the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and the MTR Hong Kong Station in July 2021. The video recorded the exercise to raise public caution against terrorist attack.
CSTCB
To cope with the evolving cyber security threats, CSTCB produced the video “Software Update” to remind the public that they should update their software regularly to prevent hackers from compromising the IT systems or other personal devices by means of known system vulnerabilities. It aims at enhancing public awareness of cyber security. The video won Bronze Award in the “Non-profit Organizations: Public Awareness category”.
