Sponsored by the Police Staff Motivation Scheme, Traffic Hong Kong Island (T HKI) organised a promotional short film competition on road safety by police-public cooperation. Apart from promoting road safety, community engagement was also enhanced when officers and citizens shot the short films together. Participants were required to write road safety-themed scripts and create short films based on the scripts.

Deputy Regional Commander of HKI Lam Hung-chuen served as the judge and selected Gold, Silver and Bronze awards. The competition raised the public’s awareness of road safety and strengthened police-community relations. The awarded short films will be used as road safety teaching materials and posted on social media platforms for promotional purposes.
