In early 2021, Kowloon City District (KCDIST) introduced the “Kowloon City Little Pioneers” board game to familiarise youngsters with the history of Kowloon City, the organisation structure of the Force and police work, as well as to enhance their law-abiding awareness and nurture them to become future leaders. So far, KCDIST has given away 2 000 sets of the board game to primary schools in the district and the board game has gained popularity among students.
On December 4, 2021, KCDIST hosted a “Kowloon City Little Pioneers” board game challenge to invite youngsters from various backgrounds and ethnic groups to enjoy the board game together. A total of 36 youngsters from three primary schools in the district, a parent-teacher association, a community group and a support service centre for ethnic minorities participated in the challenge. Acting District Commander of KCDIST Chow Hung, Chairman of the KCDIST Junior Police Call Honorary President Council Mr Lui Hon-fai, Second Vice-chairman of the Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society, Kowloon Mr Chan Kin-ping, Chairperson of the Ambitious and Energetic Youths Club Ms Winnie Wang, and President of the Federation of Parent-Teacher Association, Kowloon City District Mr Tsang Hing-wa attended the event to cheer for the participants. After the event, each participant received a set of “Kowloon City Little Pioneers” board game in the hope that they would give it to their friends to promote correct values.
