Commissioner Siu Chak-yee visited the Emergency Unit of Hong Kong Island (EU HKI) to engage with officers on December 4, 2021. Apart from listening to officers’ views on duty deployment, equipment and challenges they faced when performing frontline duties, the Commissioner also responded to officers’ questions regarding the development of the Force, manpower and welfare. In addition, the Commissioner shared his experience of serving as a Platoon Commander of EU of Kowloon West. He further expressed his appreciation to officers for their devotion to duty and encouraged them to continue to perform their duties with professionalism to maintain the positive image of the Force.

Officers appreciated the Commissioner’s visit and they gained a better understanding of the social environment and the Force’s development through his visit.
