The Force organised the “United We Stand” exhibition at the Yuen Long Theatre between November 12 and 16. This exhibition was previously held at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre in July this year, which aimed to encourage the community to put aside differences, not to be misled by unfounded information, and join hands with the Force to build Hong Kong’s future. The exhibition also demonstrated the unwavering aspirations of the Force and its determination to protect people’s lives and maintain law and order in the spirit of “Honour, Duty and Loyalty”.
The exhibition was divided into four thematic zones, namely “Know the Facts”, “The Time Tunnel”, “Police Voice” and “Gratitude From Community”. Police officers from special units were also present at the exhibition to meet with citizens and take photos with them. At the previous exhibition, citizens wrote encouragement cards to show their support and appreciation to the Force. These encouragement cards were then distributed to officers, who reciprocated the public’s support by expressing their gratitude to citizens on thank you cards. At this exhibition, an egg capsule machine was available for citizens to obtain capsules containing the thank you cards and souvenirs. Through this interaction with citizens, the Force hoped to further enhance communication between members of the public and officers and thank the public for their support.
