The Recruitment Division (RECDIV) held the Project ACHIEVE 2021/22 Inauguration Ceremony with the theme of “Together, Everyone ACHIEVEs More” at the Police Headquarters on November 10. Representatives of 17 local post-secondary institutions, over 200 project members and 100 police ambassadors attended the event. Assistant Commissioner (Personnel) Chan Man-tak, together with representatives of the Force and post-secondary institutions, officiated at the ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony, Assistant Commissioner (Personnel) expressed appreciation to the participating post-secondary institutions, project members and police ambassadors for their support. He emphasised that RECDIV, post-secondary institutions and police ambassadors would give full support to assist project members in the preparation of the selection process. He also encouraged the new project members to keep up with the tradition of ex-project members. During the ceremony, police ambassadors and ex-project members shared their experiences gained from the project, their training life and their police duties after passing out from the Police College.
RECDIV launched Project ACHIEVE in October 2018 to encourage post-secondary students to join the Force after graduation and enhance their preparedness for the recruitment selection process. Since its inception, 17 post-secondary institutions and around 2 000 students have joined the project.
