The Short Course Masters Swimming Competition organised by the Hong Kong China Swimming Association was held at the Shing Mun Valley Swimming Pool on September 26. The Force Swimming Team captured 7 gold, 11 silver and 15 bronze medals.
To hone swimmers’ technique and build up their fitness, the Police Swimming Club engaged former Asian Games medallist, Ms Melina Fu, to provide tailor-made training for team members. The swimmers attributed their breakthrough to the intensive training.
Chairman of the Police Swimming Club Ho Ka-fei was encouraged by the team members’ training efforts. He added that the Police Swimming Club would continue to identify suitable training programmes to prepare team members for upcoming competitions.
