Police Table Tennis Club
With a view to promoting physical and health management, the Police Table Tennis Club (PTTC) held the Force Table Tennis Fun Day at the Police Sports and Recreation Club (PSRC) on September 22, attracting the participation of over 80 officers and their family members. Commissioner Siu Chak-yee and Chairman of PTTC Ng Chui-ting attended the event and encouraged officers to enjoy the fun of playing table tennis and continue to promote a healthy lifestyle within the Force.
PTTC conducts regular training at PSRC from 6pm to 10pm every Thursday and from 4pm to 8pm every Saturday. Officers interested in joining the training may call 3661-2436.
Police Volleyball Club
Over 100 officers took part in the Inter-Major Formation Volleyball Competition organised by the Police Volleyball Club (PVC) at the Police Sports and Recreation Club (PSRC) on August 29. After intense matches, Marine Region captured the championship, followed by New Territories North Region, Kowloon West Region and Kowloon East Region. Chairperson of PVC Tse Tsui-yan presented trophies to the winning teams and encouraged PVC members to continue to promote healthy living.

CRIME KW
This summer holiday, the Juvenile Protection Section of Kowloon West Region invited 20 youngsters to join a three-month basketball training course and arranged for them to take part in a friendly match with the basketball team of Crime Kowloon West Headquarters (Crime KW) and a youth basketball team “BN” on August 25. Senior Superintendent of Crime KW Tsang Chung-bun, Permanent Honorary President of the Kowloon West Youth-Care Committee Mr Cheung Che-kong and President Mr Vincent Cheng also joined the match. Crime KW’s basketball team won the championship in the end.
