On September 10, Deputy Commissioner (Operations) (DCP OPS) Yuen Yuk-kin visited Railway District (RAILDIST) and was briefed on the counter-terrorism (CT) measures for the railway system and the development of railway policing, etc.

Afterwards, DCP OPS visited the Operations Control Centre of the Mass Transit Railway Corporation Limited (MTRC) in Tsing Yi and met with Operations Director of MTRC Dr Lee Kar-yun and his management team. They exchanged views on various issues, including the enhancement of the security infrastructure and CT readiness in the railway system. The visit enabled the Force and MTRC to enhance their CT collaboration in the railway system.
