The Enforcement and Control Division of Traffic New Territories North (T NTN) organised a training course on Mobile Video Team (MVT) operations for auxiliary officers from the four police districts in NTN in March. The training highlighted the key elements in conducting MVT operations, relevant legislation and evidence collection.

In early April, the group of trained auxiliary officers joined T NTN officers in conducting MVT operations against illegal use of bus lanes, picking up or setting down passengers in restricted zones and non-compliance with traffic signals, etc. In the future, auxiliary officers will join hands with officers of T NTN and police districts in the region to conduct MTV operations to combat traffic offences.
