On April 7, Police Community Relations Office of Lantau District held a “PROJECT ONE WORLD” event at a mosque in Tung Chung, during which traffic officers delivered road safety messages to around 50 non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) citizens.

An officer of Road Safety Unit of the Traffic Branch Headquarters (TBHQ) disseminated road safety information on cycling and motorcycling. The findings of the focus study conducted by TBHQ on cycling accidents involving fatalities and serious injuries in 2020 were also presented. Moreover, an officer of Road Safety Office of Traffic New Territories South explained the legislation related to electric mobility devices. In addition, English version of Road Users’ Code booklets were distributed to the participants for their reference.
