Police English Club held two online classes on February 4 and 25 to enhance colleagues’ fluency in English and enrich their vocabulary. The classes were tailor-made for junior police officers who wish to join the selection exercise of Probationary Inspectors.

In order to enable the participants to learn practical English, teaching materials were prepared from news articles published by reputable media organisations. The tutor taught over 40 participants a variety of vocabulary about contemporary social issues in an interactive way. The online classes offered a more flexible mode of learning for frontline officers and received overwhelming response.
