Commissioner Tang Ping-keung paid a visit to the Administration Wing on February 8. Accompanied by Police Civil Secretary Ma Siu-hung, the Commissioner was briefed on the administrative services in supporting the Force. Apart from overseeing the overall management, welfare and staff relations of all civilian grades and the establishment matters of the Force, the Administration Wing also implements various measures, such as the Post-retirement Service Contract Scheme, Final Extension of Service of Civil Servants and Further Employment beyond Retirement Age, with a view to coping with the projected manpower demand, as well as handles the energy saving and environmental management matters. The Commissioner thanked colleagues for their staunch support to ensure the smooth operation of the Force all along.

When meeting with a cross-section of staff of the Administration Wing, the Commissioner outlined the operational priorities of the Force for 2021, and thanked civilian staff for their devotion to duty and team spirit displayed during Operation TIDERIDER and the pandemic. The Commissioner’s visit was very much welcomed and appreciated by the officers.
