The annual meeting of “Project Legacy” was held on December 9, 2020 at the Police Headquarters. Regional Commander of New Territories South Mak Chin-ho took up the role as the Head Ambassador of “Project Legacy”, leading the Secretariat (Police Public Relations Branch) and Police Ambassadors graduated from 46 local secondary schools to jointly discuss the way forward of the project.

In the meeting, Mr Mak highlighted that “Project Legacy” has been engaging with the principals, teachers, students, parents and alumni from secondary schools since December 2017. Through sharing life experience and organising various activities at their alma maters, the Police Ambassadors are highly devoted to fostering engagement with secondary schools and promoting the Force’s positive image. He also emphasised that the team has strong determination to re-engage with the community, rebuild mutual trust between the public and the Force, and jointly build and safeguard the harmonious Hong Kong society with the public.
