With a view to fostering the development of mentees under the Development Programme for Junior Officers with Potential, the Junior Police Officers Division (JPO Division) of the Personnel Wing endeavours to enhance their professional knowledge and skills through various means, including thematic seminars, job attachment and mentorship guidance, etc.

The JPO Division has launched a series of thematic seminars on policing challenges with the first seminar on the theme of “Police and Media Relations” held on November 18, 2020 at the Police Sports and Recreation Club. During the seminar, Senior Superintendent (Media Liaison and Communication) of the Police Public Relations Branch Leung Chung-man gave a sharing on the media ecology and challenges as well as the Force’s media strategies. A total of 100 participants found the sharing inspiring.
