Commissioner Tang Ping-keung, accompanied by Commander of Yau Tsim District Yeung Man-pun, visited frontline and civilian officers at Yau Ma Tei Police Station on December 22, 2020. Commander of Yau Ma Tei Division (YMTDIV) Chan Sin reported to the Commissioner on the crime trend, local community policing and the development of the division.
During the visit, the Commissioner met with a cross-section of officers and responded to questions in relation to operational and welfare issues. The Commissioner also shared with officers his wisdom in answering questions from the press or community members in a manner neither supercilious nor obsequious. In addition, the Commissioner expressed his gratitude to officers for their devotion to duty and reminded them of the importance of self-protection during the COVID-19 outbreak. Officers thanked the Commissioner for his visit, which was very much welcomed and appreciated.
