Secretary for the Civil Service (SCS) Mr Patrick Nip presented certificates to 100 civil servants with outstanding work performance at the SCS’s Commendation Award Presentation Ceremony 2020 on November 17, 2020. Nineteen Force members were commended, making the Force the government department with the highest number of awardees.
Chief Executive Mrs Carrie Lam attended the ceremony to share the joy with the awardees. The Force awardees included Senior Superintendent So Man-kuen, Inspectors Lee Cheung-wing and Lau Chi-kwong, Station Sergeants Lo Wai-ho, Wong Chi-kong, Ng Shing-yuen, Lee Wai-shing, Ho Chi-keung, Lo Chi-sing, Yip Chi-sum, Leung Kam-fai, Ip Mun-hung, Lai Kwok-kwai, Wong Chi-wa, Ku Wai-leung, Yeung Yick-hung and Yu Ching-yin, Police Clinical Psychologist Mak Lai-ping and Senior Clerical Officer Poon Wai-ying.
The SCS’s Commendation Award Scheme was introduced in 2004 to honour civil servants who have achieved outstanding performance for at least five consecutive years.
