To enhance mutual understanding between the Police and youth practitioners, including teachers and social workers of primary and secondary schools in the district, Shatin District (STDIST) launched the “Let’s talk” sharing session in September to deepen youth practitioners’ understanding of the legal basis of police enforcement, criminal judicial process and relevant facilities in police stations, thereby enabling them to provide appropriate support and assistance to their students.

Officers of the Police Community Relations Office of STDIST conducted the first sharing session with nearly 50 teaching staff and social workers of a primary school in the district. The school principal said that the seminar not only deepened the teachers’ understanding of the aforementioned topics but also enhanced police-community communication. She looked forward to the continuous cooperation with STDIST in nurturing talents.
