Border District (BORDIST) and representatives of goods vehicle trade jointly held a publicity event at Man Kam To Road on September 9 to promote anti-deception messages to cross-boundary goods vehicle drivers.

BORDIST Commander Fung Siu-lan, Acting Commander of Ta Kwu Ling Division Wong Sze-man, officers of the Police Community Relations Office of BORDIST and Regional Crime Prevention Office of New Territories North, together with members of the District Fight Crime Committee (North District) and representatives of goods vehicle trade, distributed anti-scam leaflets, anti-epidemic supplies and souvenirs to the drivers, with a view to raising their awareness of romance scams, online shopping scams and telephone deception.
