Earlier in 2020, the Police Athletics Club’s traditional road race “Dowman” went virtual. It opened up a brand new experience for the runners to taste the vibes of running challenges anytime and anywhere. The event attracted over 1 700 runners and the enthusiasm expressed by our colleagues in the event has been inspiring. The top three of “Most Supportive Formation” went to the Police College, the Headquarters Response Contingent and the Emergency Unit of Kowloon East.

Electronic certificates have been sent to the runners through emails. In addition, uniquely designed key chains have also been distributed as souvenirs to the participants by respective Training and Staff Relations Officers or relevant officers.

It was very encouraging to learn that the runners had unleashed positive energy through this event. Once again, the Police Athletics Club congratulates all runners on their successful completion of the event. Please stay tuned for the upcoming events of the club.
