In view of the surging trend of debt collection related crimes, the Regional Crime Prevention Office of Kowloon East (RCPO KE) has proactively engaged with the security industry through “Project RUBYARROW” to enhance the alertness and professionalism of security personnel over the access to residential buildings by non-residents. The project also aims at strengthening intelligence exchange between property management offices and the Police with a view to improving the level of property security.

Amid the epidemic, officers of the RCPO KE have held video conferences with representatives of property management offices to brief them on prevalent crime trends, modus operandi of deception as well as relevant crime prevention tips for their further dissemination to residents.

The RCPO KE will continue to maintain close liaison and exchange intelligence with the security industry, in order to jointly combat various crimes to protect the life and property of the public.
