Police Community Relations Office of Yuen Long District (PCRO YLDIST) and “Project HIMALAYA” jointly organised a series of online Chinese language classes for non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) students with a view to improving their Chinese proficiency.

PCRO YLDIST invited Junior Police Call (JPC) members to produce a series of short clips to teach NEC students fundamental and practical Chinese vocabularies and phrases on YouTube. The JPC production team was responsible for script writing and editing of the clips. PCRO YLDIST will continue to explore the use of technology to promote online learning to students.
