Airport District (APTDIST) launched Project ICEBREAKER in early 2020 to strengthen liaison between young frontline commanders and young managers in the airport community through experience sharing and regular exchanges in a relaxed manner, thereby enhancing the stakeholders’ understanding of the Police Force as well as fostering mutual trust.
On June 26, APTDIST invited over ten young management trainees of the Aviation Security Company Limited to a tea reception at Airport Police Station. They exchanged work experience and shared details on their daily work with Commanders of Patrol Sub-units and Inspectors of District Investigation Teams of APTDIST in a relaxed atmosphere. The event enabled the participants to enhance understanding of each other and strengthen partnership.
APTDIST will continue to communicate with different stakeholders from the aviation industry, especially the younger generation, with a view to deepening mutual understanding and maintaining good working relationship to ensure Hong Kong International Airport remains one of the safest airports in the world.
